Deans’ Cup is an annual charity basketball game between Columbia Law School and New York University Law School (NYU), and has been historically recognized as one of the largest legal fundraising events hosted by Law Schools. First held in 2002, the annual game serves to provide funds for the Public Interest Law Foundation (PILF) at both universities.
The Deans’ Cup is one of the nation's premier law school events—to date, we've rallied together to raise over half a million dollars for public interest initiatives benefiting both Columbia and NYU Law’s Public Interest Law Foundations. Join Student Senate as we carry forward this legacy, striving to elevate the event each passing year!
We will announce the 2023–2024 Columbia Law Deans’ Cup basketball team in early spring. More information relating to tryouts will be sent around the same time.
